Looking for Role-Players

Hello

Was looking for some gamers that are interested in a character driven role-playing game. I am looking at playing Exalted, which I know well, but also like Legend of the 5 Rings and 7th Sea. I am not looking for playing the D20 version of these games, just the originals. The new World of Darkness is good also, although I really don't care for vampires, but am willing to try if the game is good enough.

Of the games above, I can run any of them given enough time to prepare. I have a friend who also wants to play and he can run them also.

If any of these sounds good, drop me a line and we could discuss getting something rolling.

Opponents Needed

Greeting fellow 40K players! I live in Bentonville, AR and will be up for the weekend (wife has a baby shower) and wanted to get in two-three games of 40K on Saturday, 11/7. There is a tourny down here the following weekend and I thought this would be a great chance to get some practice in. I am a veteran player and was thinking about 1850 points.

Any challengers?

Medium-sized bases?

I wanted to see if anyone had some spare mid-sized bases that they could either part ways with, or be willing to trade for. I have a bunch of small bases, or could part with my 2 StuG assault guns that came with my starter set.

Limited terrain

A limited number of the Imperial Sector and Imperial Strongpoint terrain boxes will be available again on November 21st. If you know that you're interested in getting either of these you should consider reserving what you want with us in advance as these two items disappeared very rapidly the first time.

The Strongpoint contains two plastic Bastions and three plastic Aegis Defence Lines. The Sector box contains 4 buildings. Each box has a retail price of $90.

Blocked Line of Sight

Gentleman and Generals,
   Can I ask your oppinion on a comment made to me by a player last Saturday.
   If a vehicle is destroyed can the wreck be used to conceal another stand behind it? I my oppinion the smoke from the wreck is going to be dense enough that it will be treated the same as a smokescreen. You may only shoot through it if you are at or inside 6" of the destoyed vehicle. Please post your ideas.

Monpoc Now King Kondo Launch

The way it was supposed to work is that any customer who bought both a case of Monpoc Now monster boosters and a case of Monpoc Now unit boosters at the same time, got a Mega King Kondo promo figure. This is the solid gold King Kondo.

Then for the launch event the winner would receive the ultra-rare Quantum King Kondo figure. This is the purple, translucent figure with the gold bracers.

However, according to Privateer Press, Valhalla's Gate pulled the golden ticket kit for the Monsterpocalypse Now launch event.

While supplies last, any customer who buys a case of monster boosters and a case of unit boosters at the same time will get the QUANTUM King Kondo figure. This is the more rare of the figures.

The winner of the launch event on Saturday, October 10, will have his choice of the MEGA King Kondo figure or the Quantum King Kondo figure. Second place will get whichever first place doesn't choose.

Now anyone who receives a Quantum King Kondo figure and who would prefer a Mega King Kondo, Privateer Press has said that if he or she returns the empty Quantum King Kondo figure base with a note explaining the situation will be sent a Mega King Kondo figure.

Battlefront US still has not received the North American shipment of copies of Hell's Highway and unfortunately don't know when they will (could be any day). I'll let everyone know when the books ship to us or Battlefront can tell me something more concrete.
