Question regarding army list wordings

I've been looking through the army list for my 9th Company Spanish Nationalists and read a sentence that has really confused me. In the bottom corner of the organization chart, there's a box that says:

When building a force from the 9me Compagnie, you may take a Liberated Char de Combat or Organized Partisan Platoon (see page 15) as divisional support choices along with any other normal support choices.

This now leads me to believe that I cannot field both the Partisans and the Renault R.35s in the same list. However, on the organizational chart, the two are listed under two separate boxes, so following the normal way of interpreting Organizational charts, this would imply that I can field both at the same time. In addition, during the platoon entry for both options, it does not state anything regarding whether both options can or cannot be fielded at the same time.

What are your interpretations on this?

New space combat miniatures games

The folks at Spartan Games (who make the very enjoyable Uncharted Seas) are launching a new space combat miniatures game called Firestorm Armada. We have the initial release of four fleets and the rules on pre-order and expect to have them sometime in the first half of December.

New Miniatures Game

On Wednesday we will be receiving our first shipment of a new skirmish level miniatures game by the name of Malifaux. Malifaux is produced in the US by Wyrd Miniatures.

New Uncharted Seas

We have received a shipment of new Uncharted Seas ships.

We received the following ships which have been out for a while but are new to us:

Iron Dwarves Frigates 2

Orc Raider Cruiser
Elven Assault Cruiser

In addition we have received the brand new flagships for the following factions:

Iron Dwarves
Dragon Lords
Humans
Orc Raiders
Thaniras Elves

These are really beautiful (and large) ships that you have to see for yourselves.

Tanksgiving on 11/21

This weekend's Tanksgiving event is using the local rule requirements that are on the event page, and I've duplicated them here.

Late War, 1500 points -- Must field a tank company with no more than half of all teams being non-tank teams. All combat platoon choices have to be tank teams.

I'd expect that there is some flexibility here, depending on tables of organization for specific lists. For example, my 3 SS Panzer tank company would be ineligible, as one of the combat platoons is required to be an SS Panzergrenadier platoon.

Anyway, who's going to be at this tourney?

Old World of Darkness LARP Group

I want to invite everyone to our Old World of Darkness (Vampire: The Masquerade) Table Top tournament on December 6 at Valhalla's Gate (12:30-6).

We run a 1920s LARP here in town and are in our 8th month of the chronicle. We run Masquerade, Apocalypse, and Ascension games on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Fridays of the month. (The months of November and December, are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd due to the holidays).

Leman Russ for trade

I have a Leman Russ battle tank that has gone unused for many years now. I thought that I would offer to trade it for something more appropriate to my current project. The tank has side mounted heavy bolters, a front mounted lascannon, and the obvious turret battle cannon. In its current state, it may be easily converted to your preferred color scheme as it is mostly black/gunmetal. If you have a Caster, Jack / Beast , Solo, or a Unit you want to play Donate a Can this will be a 1 to 1 trade. So if you have a fully painted army but want to play Beast09 and he not painted then you would donate 1can. You want to play a unit of Trenchers but they are not painted then donate 1can. Now I'm going to make you donate extra cans for UAs.

Warhammer: Invasion LCG

Hey all,

I guess this could go in several different forums, but we'll start here. I've been playing Invasion, the new "Living Card Game" from FFG, with some friends, and several (3 or 4) have expressed interest in running some organized play events. If you have any interest in this game, I'd be happy to demo it for you or answer any questions. Or if you're already playing and want to get in some games, even better!

Some basic info you might want:

-The game was designed by Eric Lang (Game of Thrones CCG/LCG, Call of Cthulhu CCG/LCG). Has an interesting resource system that allows for a lot of decisions and variety in gameplay, even with the same decks.
-Right now, the game includes Orcs, Chaos, Dwarves, and Empire. Elves and Dark Elves coming in the future.
-There is going to be a "leage kit" available with some cool prizes and eventually some regional tournaments.
-LCG distribution model is basically a $40 core set with $10 expansion decks issued every month; no random cards; you can buy up to 3 of each product to increase deckbuilding options. Also has a built-in draft format.

Looking for Role-Players

Hello

Was looking for some gamers that are interested in a character driven role-playing game. I am looking at playing Exalted, which I know well, but also like Legend of the 5 Rings and 7th Sea. I am not looking for playing the D20 version of these games, just the originals. The new World of Darkness is good also, although I really don't care for vampires, but am willing to try if the game is good enough.

Of the games above, I can run any of them given enough time to prepare. I have a friend who also wants to play and he can run them also.

If any of these sounds good, drop me a line and we could discuss getting something rolling.

Opponents Needed

Greeting fellow 40K players! I live in Bentonville, AR and will be up for the weekend (wife has a baby shower) and wanted to get in two-three games of 40K on Saturday, 11/7. There is a tourny down here the following weekend and I thought this would be a great chance to get some practice in. I am a veteran player and was thinking about 1850 points.

Any challengers?
