Tonight (9/19/08) will be the last official meeting of the World Tree Gaming Club.
The WTGC is being replaced by a Games Workshop Club (currently referred to as the GWC). In cooperation with the new club, the store will host GW events on the second Saturday of the month, unless there is a conflict with other premiere store events or a specific date works better for themed events.
The first GWC event day is Saturday, October 11th. We will be having a 40K, 1750-point tourney starting at 11:00 a.m.
At some point during the day, club members and other interested parties will be discussing an official name for the GWC, club dues and other important information. Anyone who wishes to participate should stop by on the 11th and talk to Brant or Casey.
The second GWC event will be Saturday, November 1st. This is a special Halloween-themed Warhammer Fantasy Mega-battle event. Players should bring 2000-point army lists. This is a Toys for Tots fund-raising event. Players should bring a new toy worth at least $3.00. If you don't have time or want to shop, you can pay $5.00 and the store will shop for you.

Thanks for the information, I hoping to be at the event. Was hoping to be there last Friday but my car said no my displaying it's check engine light. Got it fixed and hoping won't give me any more problems.

Currently, we are planning on remaining open until 9:00 p.m. on Fridays.
The only thing that this changes is that on WTGC nights, we used to stay open until 10:00 p.m. for club members. With the new club days being the second Saturday of the month that was deemed unnecessary.
