I got an email about this event saying there were no consignment fees. I was under the impression that there was a table space fee, though. Is this the case? If so, you may want to mention that in the advertising. If not, it might be a good idea to squash that rumor.

There was only a deposit to pre-reserve a table and as long as you showed up for the day the fee was converted into store credit and added to your sales for the day. I.e. if you came it really cost you nothing. We just didn't want people reserving space and then not showing up (which could deprive others of space).
So, no there are no fees unless you pre-reserved a spot, paid your deposit, and then don't show up.

What are the details on this event? I've been asked some Q's but I can't find any information on the boards (other than this).

Will there be another Miniatures Marked Day sometimes this year? I was out of town and heard that it really was a success.

It was indeed a success (and a lot more fun than I expected as well) and we are planning to do more. We haven't worked out a schedule yet but Katie and I are currently looking at having a market day for RPG's and board games this summer some time and then doing another miniatures market day in the fall. We're also batting around the idea of just having a general gaming market day in the fall open to any kind of gaming stuff. If anyone has ideas or input please let us know. |
